Bachelor of General Studies (B.G.S.)

The Bachelor of General Studies (B.G.S.) taught at Salzburg College emphasizes the skills necessary to grow professionally in an international setting through academic training in culture, communication and general business practices. The curriculum also focuses on leadership, cultural competence, soft skills, and the integration of emerging topics such as the influence of neuroscience, artifical intelligence and environmental issues.

The program is offered in compact, structured form ensuring that fulltime students graduate in fewer than 3 years. The program focuses on academic as well as on professional and global learning.

Upon graduation students will have grown academically as well as personally, gained work experience in Europe and abroad, acquired a B1 level certificate in a foreign language (German or Spanish) and become highly interculturally competent.

Enrollment for the B.G.S. program is possible at the beginning of each fall and spring semester. The student number is limited and the program highly selective.
