Summer Sessions at Salzburg College

From May to July Salzburg College offers several summer sessions for undergraduate students. The summer sessions are either offered exclusively by Salzburg College or as Joint Programs together with a US-American partner institution.

Summer Sessions II-IV

Salzburg College offers three 3-week (1+2) Summer Sessions, and students may enroll in one, two, or all three sessions. For one session, students take 1 course for 1-3 U.S. credits. The academic course work emphasizes the special opportunities provided by the Salzburg setting and offers an introduction to various aspects of Austrian and European culture. Experiential learning beyond the classroom is an important part of the academic program. This includes coordinated learning visits to historical sites, cultural institutions, professional organizations, artistic and musical events.

A variety of special lectures, events and excursions constitute an integral part of each session:A list of events will be provided with the detailed course outlines during.
Please note: The dates of individual events are tentative and subject to change.

Room & Board

To maximize cultural engagement, students live either in Austrian families, breakfast and dinner incl. (Mon-Sun) OR share a room at an Austrian student dormitory, no meals provided.

Cost does not include individual passport, transatlantic transportation, international travel insurance and other personal discretionary expenses.
Additional fees on behalf of home institution may also apply.

Non-refundable $ 500 deposit due upon registration.
