By all means, do bring your prescription drugs with you. Sending them by mail can be complicated, since customs officials usually require confirmation by your physician that you need this particular medication. Without a confirmation you may not be able to import them.
Some American medications may be available in Austria under a different label. Please inform us ahead of time if you have a medical problem and if you need medical care while in Salzburg.
